Hello and welcome to the fan-run 963verse reference hub! This website acts as a compendium of original characters and alternate universes created by the SCP fanbase to replace the original SCP-963 (Jack Bright). We're proud to show off the brilliant writing and artwork of our talented, creative community. Besides this — the reason that we created this site — we also showcase other non-963-related characters and settings within the broader SCP universe, focused largely around worldbuilding niches and collaborative storytelling (much like mainsite!). We hope you enjoy!

The SCP site operates under a CC-BY-SA license. Content relating to the SCP Foundation, including the SCP Foundation logo, is licensed under Creative Commons Sharealike 3.0 and all concepts originate from the Wiki and its authors. This site, being derived from that content, is hereby also released under Creative Commons Sharealike 3.0. However, individual creators may have preferences regarding how their work is used — as a favor, we'd like to ask that you be respectful of the wishes of the creatives whose work and ideas are displayed here.

  • A Statement From Us

This site was created because we find AuthorBright's actions to be incredibly shameful. We take specific issue with his use of Bright as a tool for misconduct and serious harm, as well as the way that it is still perpetuated through the continued use of his character. For this reason, the creators of this website are strongly against the usage of Jack Bright within the fanbase, as well as on the official Wiki — we know change is hard, but we think it's time for something better.

So we're providing alternatives! We've reinterpreted SCP-963 in all sorts of different ways, reclaiming the parts that we love (and getting rid of the parts we don't). If you have your own rewrite who you would like to feature on this website, fill out this form or email us (contactscpverse@gmail.com) to make a submission to our moderators.

If you plan to create your very own version of SCP-963, we suggest using the following guidelines:

  • Don't keep the Bright name.
  • Change the amulet's appearance, or replace the amulet with something else.
  • Prevent the character from possessing children or teenagers; keep it to adults only, or remove the possession aspect completely.
  • Remove the character's agency when it comes to selecting what bodies they possess.
  • These aren't required — feel free to do whatever you'd like with your own character! However, these suggestions come directly from Daisy themself, and help to keep the SCP community a safe and welcoming place for AuthorBright's victims.
