- Dr. Sirius

Profile

Dr. Sirius is the current director of Site-19, known for their ways of brightening up the room both figuratively and literally. Dr. Sirius can be seen usually wearing a corset-like top and oversized pants, or whatever goes against the dress code. It is noted that Dr. Sirius has a habit of bending situations for persons they’re closest with, especially a certain three-eyed employee. Rumored to have familial roots in the Foundation since its early days, and due to this, Dr. Sirius has had multiple interactions with O5-1.

SCP Classification

Description

SCP-963 is a dark pink necklace resembling a diamond or a "star." The necklace cannot be removed from the subject’s body unless the subject is in the process of a "Supernova," critical injury, or, in special cases, Dr. ██████.

When an adult subject comes into contact with the necklace, they will feel an immense pain, equivalent to being burnt alive. This process will last until the subject is completely brain dead, and any aging of the body will stop.

After this, the subject's eyes will change. The irises will turn to a bright shade of yellow, green, blue, or purple, and the pupil will form into a star or diamond shape. Yellow stars appear in patches or evenly spaced across the body of the subject, and will emit both heat and a light glow. The hands of the subject also produce an intense heat that can result in severe burns when in direct contact with a living being or inanimate object, and can even end the life of the being - which in some cases can result in SCP-963-B retaining their memories. Due to this, the subject is required to wear specialized gloves at all times.

In the (rare) occasion of extreme stress, the subject will enter the process of a "Supernova", where the subject will give off electromagnetic radiation and intense steam will emit from the body through the star patterns. If SCP-963-B is not removed from the situation in time, given a new host, or given a way to destress, then the body and the area around the subject will be engulfed and ultimately cease to exist, leaving nothing but ash and the necklace intact until a new host is found. In order to prevent this, SCP-963-B has mandatory sessions with Dr. Glass three times per week, for a minimum of an hour.

Alternatively, in the case of critical injury, the subject will find the closest sentient being and forcefully remove the necklace (which causes further injury to the current host body), passing it on to the next subject; this repeats the process all over again with the consciousness of its former host.

In addition, in the case of the host having a animal form, it will go through its natural life cycle at a rapid pace until it burns out (dies).

Background

Dr Sirius was a former field agent who had many successful missions with their team before the "Core-Collapse" Incident on ██/██/████. Dr Sirius was found by Agent Arthur (now Dr. ██████), with the necklace around their neck. Agent Arthur attempted to remove the necklace, and while successful, the agent's hand was burned severely in the process. The item was returned to SCP-963-B's neck after ██████ realized that it was keeping the subject alive.
